Unheard Iraq Podcast
Host
Sam is the host and force behind the series. While reporting in Mosul in 2017, Sam launched the project when he assembled and trained Iraqi reporters.
Producer
Jordan is an award-winning podcast producer and investigative journalist with more than a decade of journalism experience. Her work has been featured in various US and UK publications, including the AP, NPR, and The Times, among others.
Editor
Abdalla Nasef is the founder and host of Tahrir Podcast, the first political podcast to broadcast from Cairo. He was one of few independent Egyptian journalists to have covered and provided analysis on Egypt’s 2024 presidential election in English from Cairo.
Developer
Isslem is the web developer behind this project. Currently based in Greece, she works with an NGO to help them create awesome websites for the European Union.
